(Kaieteur News) – Another life was lost due to a vehicular accident along the Corentyne roadways – that of Roshan Alli, a 53-year-old cane harvester of No. 76 Village, Corentyne, Berbice.
Alli, a father of three, died on Friday evening after he was reportedly struck by a motorcar, while he was riding his motorcycle on the No. 75 Village Public Road, Corentyne, moments after he had visited his mother’s home one village away from his residence.
According to information received, the incident took place just after 10:00 on Friday night. His 78-year-old mother, speaking to reporters, demanded that her son’s death be properly investigated while she pleaded for justice. The elderly woman had seen Alli a few hours prior to receiving the news that he was involved in an accident, and had died.
