PRIME Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar said it is going to be a “bumper Carnival” in 2026.
After chairing a Cabinet meeting at the Diplomatic Centre, St Ann’s, on Thursday, the Prime Minister made her way to the launch of the Flava Village at the Queen’s Park Savannah, where she sampled some bake and shark and was flanked by patrons eager to take photographs.
Persad-Bissessar was accompanied by several Cabinet ministers, including Minister of Culture and Community Development Michelle Benjamin, Minister of Homeland Security Roger Alexander, and Minister of Public Utilities Barry Padarath, among others.
