THE alleged killer of former state prosecutor Randall Hector has provided investigators with critical information about two gang leaders who allegedly conspired behind prison walls to plan Hector’s execution on December 31, 2024.
Hector was killed outside the Seventh-day Adventist Church on Stanmore Avenue, Queen’s Park West, Port of Spain, where he had minutes earlier delivered a sermon. His alleged killer has been in prison since January this year on another murder charge.
The Sunday Express had reported exclusively in February that investigators had obtained a critical statement from an informant with inside knowledge of Hector’s killing—and also solid information that the hit had been ordered from behind prison walls.
