Member of Parliament for San Fernando West and Minister of Education Dr Michael Dowlath said yesterday that a promise of a Hindu school in San Fernando will be kept to the constituents.
Dowlath praised the country’s ancestors for the emphasis on education in the development of the society, as he delivered remarks at an Indian Arrival Day service at the Krishna Mandir in San Fernando.
He said citizens ought to reflect on the 180th anniversary of the East Indian ancestors to the West Indies with deep respect and recognition of their toil during indentureship.
