Two armed men tied up a resident and stole his vehicle during a home invasion Thursday night, police reported.
Around 11:15 p.m., the victim was returning from Princes Casino West Mall when a silver SUV blocked his path at the corner of Rodney Road and Schullere Street. Two men, one armed with a cutlass and the other with a firearm, approached his car, unlocked the doors, and forced him to drive home while being followed by the SUV.
At the house, the suspects tied the man to a chair, threatened his life, and stole cash along with the keys to a black Haval SUV valued at $287,000. The suspects then fled the scene. The resident was later freed by another household member, who contacted the police.
