There will be heightened security and traffic management measures in Port of Spain today, Carnival Friday, as several Carnival events take place around the Queen’s Park Savannah.

Events scheduled include Machel Montano’s appearance at Flava Village in the Savannah tonight; and Bunji Garlin’s Hard Fete, to take place in the same vicinity.

Speaking at a news conference yesterday at the Paddock in the Savannah, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Tactical Support, Collis Hazel said the TTPS had anticipated increased attendance at Flava Village for “Fantastic Friday”.
