A homeless man died after he was struck by a car at Powder Magazine, Cocorite, yesterday.
The incident occurred along the west-bound lane of the Audey Jeffers Highway around midday and caused a small traffic pile-up as motorists slowed to get a glimpse of the victim lying in the road.
Police said the victim had no fixed place of abode and was used to wandering in the area.
