A teenage mother and her baby have been reported missing after they reportedly slipped out of a home for teen mothers during the night and failed to return.

Police said the pair was last seen on Thursday night at the facility in South Oropouche, and staff members alerted authorities after they could not account for their whereabouts.

A police report stated that the 17-year-old girl and the infant were last seen at around around 8.15 p.m. at the home.
