Police in the Maraval are investigating a robbery with aggravation after a 79-year-old man was forced from his vehicle on Monday afternoon.
Reports indicate that around 3:45 p.m. the victim of Blanchisseuse was sitting in his silver Kia Soul (registration PDA 9494), valued at $80,000, on the side of the North Coast Road near the Pillars.
Two men of African descent, both with plaited hairstyles and wearing red T-shirts and shorts, approached the vehicle from either side. The man at the driver’s side reportedly ordered the man to exit the vehicle and hand over his keys, wallet, and phone.
