A Rancho Quemado businessman was beaten and robbed outside his home on Thursday night by two armed men, one wielding a cutlass and the other a firearm.
Police said the victim, a production supervisor at Lease Operators Ltd and proprietor of a small business in the area, had just returned to his home at South Trace, Rancho Quemado, around 9.15 p.m. when the attack occurred.
The victim told police that he was opening the front door of his house when two men approached him from behind and announced a robbery. One suspect, described as slim-built, dark complexion, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, wearing a black ski mask and white jersey with blue prints, was armed with a straight cutlass. The second suspect, also slim-built and using a white jersey to conceal his face, was armed with a firearm.
