Op­po­si­tion Sen­a­tor Dr Amery Browne says he has re­port­ed a se­ries of on­line death threats made against him and his fam­i­ly to the Trinidad and To­ba­go Po­lice Ser­vice.

In a Face­book post, Dr Browne said the threats ap­peared as “spe­cif­ic com­ments” on his Face­book page. In the post, he al­so shared a screen grab of one com­ment in which a man threat­ened dead­ly harm against him if he sees him in pub­lic.

“I have made a full re­port to the Po­lice Ser­vice based on on-line death threats made against me and mem­bers of my fam­i­ly in the form of spe­cif­ic com­ments on my Face­book wall,” he wrote.
