A 48-year-old Diego Martin man has been charged with three counts of Threats to Kill and four counts of Misuse of an Electronic Device following a police investigation into explicit death threats made online against Opposition Senator Dr. Amery Browne.
According to police, the charges stem from a series of comments posted on Senator Browne’s personal Facebook page between November 8 and 9, 2025, and discovered by Browne on November 19. The posts, made by a user who displayed no prior connection to the Senator, threatened to kill Browne and his children.
One of the comments stated, “Anytime I see u in public I go walk up and shoot yuh in your head,” while another warned, “I go send men to kill your children.” One message also contained a racial slur.
