The Diabetes Association of Trinidad and Tobago (DATT) successfully hosted its Biennial General Meeting and Elections on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Chaguanas Borough Corporation, marking an important milestone in the Association’s continued commitment to diabetes education, awareness, advocacy, and support throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
The meeting brought together members, chairpersons, volunteers, and stakeholders to review theAssociation’s accomplishments over the past two years, discuss strategic priorities for the future,and elect a new Executive Board to serve the organization for the 2026–2028 term.
The newly elected Executive Board comprises a diverse group of healthcare professionals,advocates, and community leaders who will guide the Association’s mission to improve the livesof persons living with diabetes and those at risk of developing the condition.
