A ruptured transmission line belonging to the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) created a traffic pile-up on the eastbound lane of the Beetham Highway just after 10 a.m. yesterday as motorists attempted to safely navigate gallons of water gushing onto the roadway.
Some Beetham residents took the opportunity to bathe in an attempt to cool off from the sweltering heat of the morning sun.
