A man who resided in the same village as Siparia grandmother Joanne Estick, who was found beheaded in her community last month, has been charged with her murder.
Police said the 44-year-old unemployed man, who has addresses in Sennon Village and Corinth Village in Ste Madeleine, was expected to appear in court on Wednesday.
A senior investigator also told the Express that a second suspect, who is a relative of the man who was charged, was detained on Monday by the police as investigations continue into the killing.
