Tobago House of Assembly (THA) Chief Secretary Farley Augustine says the collapse of the Dragon gas deal is a pivotal moment that demands urgent rethinking of Trinidad and Tobago’s economic direction.
Augustine, the political leader of the Tobago People’s Party (TPP), was speaking at a public meeting at Plymouth Anglican Primary School, Plymouth, on Tuesday. The meeting was well attended with jubilant supporters waving TPP flags.
Augustine said the critical news about the Dragon gas deal meant that the next five years will be absolutely important for the nation’s direction and thrust towards diversification.
