A modified PlayStation gaming console was allegedly being used to conceal a firearm and ammunition, leading to the arrest of two people during intelligence-led anti-crime operations carried out by police in Central and Western Trinidad on Wednesday.
The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service said officers of the Central Division Gang Unit and the Western Division Task Force conducted separate Operation R.E.S.O.L.U.T.E. Shield exercises that resulted in the seizure of a firearm, ammunition and cannabis.
Between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m., officers acting on intelligence carried out enquiries that led them to a residence at Taska Avenue, Cashew Gardens, Longdenville.
