A mod­i­fied PlaySta­tion gam­ing con­sole was al­leged­ly be­ing used to con­ceal a firearm and am­mu­ni­tion, lead­ing to the ar­rest of two peo­ple dur­ing in­tel­li­gence-led an­ti-crime op­er­a­tions car­ried out by po­lice in Cen­tral and West­ern Trinidad on Wednes­day.

The Trinidad and To­ba­go Po­lice Ser­vice said of­fi­cers of the Cen­tral Di­vi­sion Gang Unit and the West­ern Di­vi­sion Task Force con­duct­ed sep­a­rate Op­er­a­tion R.E.S.O.L.U.T.E. Shield ex­er­cis­es that re­sult­ed in the seizure of a firearm, am­mu­ni­tion and cannabis.

Be­tween 1 p.m. and 9 p.m., of­fi­cers act­ing on in­tel­li­gence car­ried out en­quiries that led them to a res­i­dence at Tas­ka Av­enue, Cashew Gar­dens, Long­denville.
