The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) has officially withdrawn its appeal of a judge’s ruling in which it was found that there was “credible evidence of misconduct”, as well an apparent attempt to pervert the course of justice, in an investigation against an employee.
On Tuesday, attorneys for WASA filed a notice of discontinuance in the matter.
WASA was represented by a team of attorneys, including Russell Martineau SC, Vanessa Gopaul and Elena Araujo.
