Police are investigating a larceny at Malick Secondary School in Morvant, where two Ministry of Education–purchased airbrush kits were stolen and gang-related graffiti was found.
A visual arts teacher at the school, reported that he secured his classroom on December 12 last year by locking the door and padlocking the burglarproof gate. He left the keys with the general office.
When he returned around 7 a.m. on Monday, he discovered the padlock had been broken and the door tampered with. Inside, cabinets had been ransacked, and the walls were marked with the number “7.”
