When the general election date was announced by Prime Minister Stuart Young on Tuesday, the UniÂted National Congress (UNC) had only 11 confirmed candidates.
However, UNC chairman Davendranath Tancoo said yesterday that the party was âmission-readyâ and the UNC would be presenting the remaining candidates âshortlyâ.
Responding to questions from the Express via WhatsApp, Tancoo said, âThe UNC has already announced 11 candidates and will be presenting the rest of our candidates shortly.
