Officers of the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) of the North Eastern Division arrested one man and seized a quantity of marijuana with a street value of over $4.4 million.

The exercise was carried out under the supervision of Snr Supt Edwards, Supt Etienne and ASP Lynch, with support from the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) between 6 am and 11 am on Wednesday.

During the course of the operation, officers intercepted a vehicle travelling west along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway, in the vicinity of the Ibis Building, opposite Courts.
