The discovery of several boxes of blank ammunition at the Vessigny Secondary School prompted a police response on Wednesday.
Police said the “blanks” were found inside a secured cupboard in an office on the school’s premises.
The school’s principal opened the cupboard and found eight boxes containing 50 rounds each, totalling 400 rounds of ammunition, police stated.
