A PRIMARY school boy caught with a bullet at his school in Arouca on Monday allegedly tried getting rid of it by throwing it over a wall.
Police said around 1.35 p.m. officers of the Arouca CID responded to a report at the school about a Standard Four student having one round of 9mm ammunition in his possession. One of the boy’s schoolmates saw him with the bullet and reported it to a teacher.
Police said they were told when the boy heard a teacher was coming to enquire about the bullet, he tried getting rid of it. The police were also told the boy was seen throwing the item over the school wall into the yard of someone’s home.
