BUSINESSMAN Dominic Hadeed and his wife, Genevieve, will know by Friday morning whether they will be released from prison while they continue their legal challenge to the preventive detention orders issued against them under the State of Emergency (SoE).
After hearing submissions on Tuesday, a Court of Appeal panel reserved its decision on the couple's application for interim relief and said it would deliver its ruling no later than 8 a.m. on Friday, although it could do so earlier if possible.
The appeal was heard by Justices of Appeal Peter Rajkumar, Mira Dean-Armorer and Joan Charles, with the Hadeeds appearing via virtual link from prison.
