A 70-year-old man was robbed of his gold chain while walking along the Queen’s Park Savannah on Friday evening.
According to police reports, around 6.35 p.m. the victim was walking north along the Savannah when, on reaching the vicinity of the US Embassy, he was accosted by two men who appeared to be in their twenties.
Police said one suspect, described as about 5 ft 7 in tall, brown in complexion, medium build, with short hair, and wearing a white vest and blue three-quarter pants, held the victim in an arm-lock. The second suspect was described as about 5 ft 5 in tall, dark in complexion, and of slim build.
