Jour­nal­ist, broad­cast­er, com­mu­ni­ca­tions pro­fes­sion­al and singer Ray­mond Ed­wards has died af­ter a pro­longed ill­ness.

His wife made the an­nounce­ment on so­cial me­dia to­day.

Ed­wards spent decades in lo­cal me­dia and of­ten lent his voice to ads and as a com­men­ta­tor dur­ing car­ni­val broad­casts.
