KINGSTON, Jamaica – A dispute between two businessmen in Harbour View, Kingston, turned violent Tuesday when one of the men allegedly shot and injured the other before being fatally shot by police. The deceased has been identified as 63-year-old Paul Thompson, otherwise called “Pablo”, of a Richards Avenue, Kingston 6 address.
It is understood that Thompson and the other businessman were arguing over a boatyard they shared about 3:30pm, when Thompson allegedly pulled a gun and shot the other man twice, once to the chest and once to the right hand, before opening fire on the man’s Rottweiler pet.
The injured man was rushed to hospital where he was admitted in serious condition.
