THE Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (TATT) has issued a warning that it is actively reviewing recent content aired on local television and will take regulatory action where necessary.
In a release yesterday, TATT said it remains focused on “responsible broadcasting and the protection of all citizens from harmful or discriminatory content”, amid public debate over statements made about the Prime Minister.
In a separate letter to Guardian Media Ltd, TATT cautioned it and its CNC3 station that, as a national television station, it was obligated to exercise responsibility.
