DPI – The Guyana Police Force (GPF) has received 400 heavy-duty wheel clamps to strengthen the enforcement of traffic laws and curb illegal parking and vehicle overloading across the country.
Minister of Public Works, Juan Edghill handed over the devices to Traffic Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mahendra Singh, during a simple ceremony on Friday.
Speaking at the event, Minister Edghill said the new clamps will complement those already in use and enhance the force’s ability to tackle persistent traffic violations.
