Firearm, ammunition and ecstasy seized in Diego Martin

Police seized a firearm, nine rounds of ammunition and a quantity of suspected Ecstasy during an anti-crime exercise in Diego Martin on Tuesday.

Officers of the Western Division Gang and Intelligence Unit (WDGIU) conducted the exercise between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Monday.

Acting on intelligence, officers proceeded to a residence at North Post Road, Diego Martin, where they conducted a search under the Emergency Powers Regulations 2026.
