Man beaten to death over 'sex attack' on child

A 52-YEAR-OLD man is dead after he was severely beaten by residents of Sea Lots after allegations were made that he had sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl. The deceased has been identified as Hasim Ali.
Police were told that on Thursday night the teenager was walking within the Sea Lots community when she reportedly encountered the 52-year-old. She then alleged that she was taken to the man's home, where she was sexually assaulted and was then allowed to leave.
The girl told relatives of the alleged incident and she was taken for medical treatment.
