A fam­i­ly lime in Pe­nal on Sun­day turned dead­ly af­ter a 65-year-old woman was shot in the neck.

Quintin Mar­cano of Cameron Hill, Mar­aval, died on ar­rival at the Siparia Health Fa­cil­i­ty.

Po­lice said around 5:30 pm, Mar­cano was lim­ing with rel­a­tives and friends in a shed at Rochard Road when they heard sev­er­al gun­shots from across the road. They then saw a man wear­ing a ski mask run­ning away.
