QUINTIN Marcano, 65, of Cameron Hill, Maraval, was struck in the neck by a bullet on Sunday as she sat on a chair in the yard of the Penal home of Lucy Mitchell who was celebrating her birthday.

She died from her injuries.

Police are investigating whether the shooting was due to gunplay by a resident with an illegal firearm, or an exchange of gunfire on the street between a resident and the occupants of a vehicle that fled the scene.
