A Morvant man is in stable condition after he tried to rob a patron at a restaurant in Curepe on Tuesday night.
Police said the 70-year-old patron, who is a licensed firearm owner, was waiting to collect food at a restaurant on the Southern Main Road, around 8.15 pm, when he was confronted by a man and a woman who ordered him to hand over his cash.
The male bandit pushed his hand into the patron’s pocket and pulled out his wallet.
