HOMICIDE detectives are looking for a motive behind a shooting which claimed the life of a woman and left her husband in a critical condition on Sunday night.

Housewife Elizabeth Lennard, also known as “Mary”, 59, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her husband, Premnath Enal, 63, sustained gunshot injuries to his face and jaw, right forearm, right thigh and left ear, police said.
