A woman from Rousillac was reportedly shot dead while in a vehicle with her husband at the Debe roundabout.
According to a police report, around 10.20 p.m. on Sunday the first responders were on mobile patrol in the La Romain Police District when they received a call from E999 Command Centre of a report of an unresponsive person in a vehicle located at Church Street, Rambert Village. Upon arrival at 10.23 p.m., they observed a white coloured Nissan AD wagon registration PDZ 4141 parked across the roadway with apparent blood on the left side rear passenger door.
Further checks were made, and they discovered the body of an East Indian woman lying motionless in a reclined position in the front passenger seat with apparent injuries to her face. The first responders also observed the vehicle’s front driver side door opened with engine running and the headlights on.
