Cabinet has appointed a committee to investigate allegations of misconduct within the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) programme.
In a release, it was announced that Minister of Youth Development and National Service Foster Cummings on Monday presented Letters of Appointment to members of the committee.
"Minister Cummings took steps to address the allegations with utmost urgency, noting that the development of the nation's youth, the efficient delivery of programmes and services, and the provision of 'safe spaces, peaceful communities and environments', in keeping with Pillar Four (4) of the National Youth Policy (2020-2025), are all top priorities under the Ministry of Youth Development and National Service (MYDNS)," the release stated.
