A man and a woman were wound­ed in a shoot­ing out­side a bar in Siparia ear­ly Sat­ur­day morn­ing.

Around 3:30 am, the pair was stand­ing at the cor­ner of Mary Street and Coo­ra Road near Mush Nightlife Bar when they heard sev­er­al loud ex­plo­sions and were hit by gun­fire.

They were tak­en to the Siparia Health Fa­cil­i­ty. The man was lat­er trans­ferred to the Point Fortin Hos­pi­tal, while the woman was moved to the San Fer­nan­do Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal for fur­ther treat­ment.
