The number of road fatalities has risen to 108 for the year, following two separate incidents in Piarco and Chaguanas yesterday.
The comparative figure for the same period last year stood at 122.
Police said, in the first incident, the driver of a car was flung from the vehicle upon impact and is said to have suffered a broken neck.
