A 29-year-old Siparia woman died on MonÂday night afÂter her car crashed off a bridge and plunged inÂto the South Oropouche RivÂer in Debe.
PoÂlice said Kalisa DanÂclair, a store manÂagÂer at HADÂCO Ltd, died at the scene afÂter emerÂgency reÂsponÂders pulled her silÂver ToyÂota Axio from the waÂter.
AcÂcordÂing to a reÂport, DanÂclair was driÂving south along Debe Trace when, near RaÂhamut Trace opÂpoÂsite the Lord ShiÂva Mandir, her car hit a steel barÂriÂer on the westÂern side of the bridge. The imÂpact deÂstroyed about ten feet of railÂing beÂfore the veÂhiÂcle plunged inÂto the rivÂer.
