A 29-year-old Siparia woman died on Monday night after her car crashed off a bridge and plunged into the South Oropouche River in Debe.
Police said Kalisa Danclair, a store manager at HADCO Ltd, died at the scene after emergency responders pulled her silver Toyota Axio from the water.
According to a report, Danclair was driving south along Debe Trace when, near Rahamut Trace opposite the Lord Shiva Mandir, her car hit a steel barrier on the western side of the bridge. The impact destroyed about ten feet of railing before the vehicle plunged into the river.
