A 21-year-old man, who killed a man while wearĀing an anĀkle monĀiĀtor, has pleadĀed guilty to felony murĀder and posĀsesĀsion of arms and amĀmuĀniĀtion.
Rasheed Mustafa was senĀtenced to a toĀtal of 38 years in prison but will serve four years and 11 months afĀter deĀducĀtions and time served were takĀen inĀto acĀcount. He will be reĀleased beĀfore his 30th birthĀday.
Mustafa pleadĀed guilty to the ofĀfences on SepĀtemĀber 17 in a plea-barĀgainĀing agreeĀment with the State. He was inĀdictĀed on April 17, 2024, and sought to enĀter a plea on SepĀtemĀber 10.
