A JUDICIAL electronic ankle monitoring device played a pivotal role in securing a conviction against a Port of Spain man who has been sentenced after pleading guilty to felony murder and related firearms charges.
On Monday, a High Court judge, imposed sentence on 21-year-old Rasheed Mustafa for the murder of Jevon Roberts which took place in August 2002.
The evidence, which placed the then-18-year-old Mustafa on the scene at the time of the fatal shooting, was crucial in the case prosecuted before Justice Nalini Singh.
