Police shot and apprehended a suspect allegedly linked to an attempted murder and several firearm-related offences during an intelligence-led operation in Pleasantville on Tuesday.
According to police, around 4.05 pm, Southern Division officers went to Balisier Avenue after receiving credible information that a man described as a “priority offender” was at his residence and armed with illegal firearms.
Officers approached the house from three directions, but when they announced their presence, the suspect ran to the back of the house and attempted to escape along a drain.
