THE 2025 Hope Gala hosted by the central branch of the TT Medical Association raised funds for this country’s first sensory-friendly playground for children with special needs. It will be built at the Strategic Learning and Special Education Institute in Trincity.
The sold-out event was held on July 25 at the Dennis P Ramdhan Complex. It was hailed as an evening of elegance, empowerment and empathy under the theme Investing in Kids with Special Needs.
In July 26 statement, the association said it “welcomed an inspiring cross-section of medical professionals, civic leaders, philanthropic partners, and compassionate citizens, all united by a shared vision: to build a future where every child, regardless of ability, can thrive.”
