(Kaieteur News) – The Ministry of Home Affairs has received 19 bids for the rehabilitation of its Secretariat Building on Brickdam, Georgetown, with the project estimated to cost $22,165,500.
The bids were opened at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), with nine of the 19 bidders coming in below the engineer’s estimate.
The rehabilitation forms part of the $52.1 billion allocation approved for the Ministry of Home Affairs in this year’s national budget.
