(Kaieteur News) – The Ministry of Home Affairs is planning to spend an estimated $241,247,060 to construct a Daycare Centre in Region Four for children of Guyana Prison Service officers.
During the recent opening of bids at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB) Office it was revealed that 35 contractors bid to execute the project.
The daycare centre forms part of the ongoing efforts to enhance welfare services within the security sectors. The facility is expected to be constructed at Parade Street, Kingston.
