AN audit of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) has red-flagged a $200 million loan that is placing financial pressure on the organisation.
Government officials told the Express that the loan arrangement has raised major questions.
The loan arrangement is with NCB Global Bank where $9 million is to be paid in interest annually totalling $63 million and then a “bullet” $200 million payment which is due in 2028.
