The pub­lic’s help is be­ing sought to iden­ti­fy the body of an African man who was re­cov­ered float­ing in the wa­ters off Sea Lots on Fri­day.

The vic­tim, who is be­lieved to be around 65 years old and dark in com­plex­ion, was seen in the vicin­i­ty of Con­ces­sion Dri­ve, Sea Lots, around 5:30 pm on Oc­to­ber 31.

Of­fi­cers of the Besson Street Po­lice Sta­tion re­spond­ed and re­quest­ed the as­sis­tance of the Coast Guard, who re­trieved the body and brought it to shore around 8 pm.
