Po­lice have launched an in­ves­ti­ga­tion af­ter a body was seen off the coast of Sea Lots yes­ter­day af­ter­noon.

Of­fi­cers were called to the lo­ca­tion by res­i­dents who spot­ted the body float­ing around 4 pm.

Po­lice were wait­ing the ar­rival of the Coast Guard just af­ter 6 pm to help re­cov­er the body.
