The Ministry of Justice, through its Probation Services Division, has marked the graduation of 15 participants from its Male Mentorship Programme at a ceremony held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the Division’s Head Office.
The ceremony marked the completion of the programme’s first six-week cycle, designed to support male offenders under probation supervision through mentorship, behavioural change sessions and vocational skills training.
Delivering remarks at the ceremony, the Honourable Devesh Maharaj, Minister of Justice and Minister in the Office of the Attorney General, said the programme demonstrates the Government’s commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for rehabilitation while reinforcing accountability within the justice system.
